Associated Research 6550DT Overview
The Associated Reserach 6550DT HypotULTRA combines an AC & DC Hipot with an insulation resistance tester in a single instrument and comes with IEEE-488 interface (GPIB). Includes an LCD display to monitor test results. Basic rating of the 6550DT is 0 - 5kVAC @ 20 mA and 0- 5kVDC @ 10 mA. Provides both Low and High Trip Ranges, Failure Detector, Dwell Timer, and Ramp Timer. In the insulation resistance test mode, it provides an output voltage range of 100-1000 Volts and resistance metering to 2 Gohms.
