Fluke 12B Overview

Economical, Easy-to-Use DMM and Electrical Testers; Safety Engineered for Power Circuit

The Model 12B Series are ideal for basic electrical troubleshooting. The 12B has the same great functionality as our popular Model 12, now with an easy-to-use rotary dial. Simply turn on and use.

Features:

  • 4000 count digital display
  • Auto Selection (V-Chek") simplifies voltage measurements in power environments. When measuring ohms/continuity with more than 4.5 volts present across the input jacks (intentional or not) the meter automatically switches to measuring ac or dc volts, whichever is greater. Input impedance is approximately 2 k?, helping determine if voltage is from leakage (so-called "ghost" voltages) or a hard connection. Overload protection is provided in all measurement modes
  • Automatic readings of volts ac or dc, whichever is greater (600V in 12B)
  • Continuity beeper
  • TL75 Test Leads included with meter
  • High visibility yellow plastic housing makes it easy to locate on the job or in your toolbox
  • Voltage measurement down to millivolts - compatible with temperature accessories
  • High resistance ranges to 40 M?
  • 5 ranges of capacitance
  • Continuity Capture" that locates intermittent opens as brief as 250s and identifies them in a symbolic display as short-to-open or open-to-short
  • Min/Max recording with relative time stamp records the highest and lowest voltage readings during a 100-hour period
  • Sleep mode preserves battery life
