Allows remote use of sampling oscilloscope modules. The empty cage can hold a standard width module while the extender cage is plugged into the left or right half of the mainframe bay.
Mechanical:
- Cable length: 1.2 m (typical)
- Extension: 1.5 m (from front panel of mainframe to front panel of plug in module)
Electrical (remote operation of a module in the extender cage):
- Additional trigger delay: approx. 8 ns (trigger input at mainframe), approx. 18 ns (trigger input at remote module)
- Minimum system trigger delay: approx. 30 ns (trigger input at mainframe), approx. 40 ns (trigger input at remote module)
