NoiseKen ESS-200AX Overview

The ESS-200AX is designed to generate static electricity for conducting electrostatic discharge immunity test. When conducting electrostatic test, the ESS-200AX is connected to Electrostatic Discharge Gun (TC-815D(F)).

The ESS-200AX Electrostatic Discharge Simulator conducts contact and air discharge testing. It meets and exceeds the testing requirements in the IEC 61000-4-2, generating discharges up to 30 kV. Various waveforms can be generated by changing the energy storage capacitor and discharge resistor.

The energy storage capacitor, discharge resistor, and discharge relay are incorporated in the gun. The ESS-200AX can generate current with a stable rise independent of applied voltage, making it possible to conduct a reproducible test.
