Wavetek 650 Overview
The 650 is a fully-programmable, 2 MHz Variable Phase Synthesizer generator offering two or four channel (option 001) outputs. It features outputs up to 50 Vp-p (25 Vp-p into 50 Ohms) with 10 digit frequency resolution. Waveforms include sine, square, triangle, ramp, dc, and variable duty cycle square and ramp. Continuous, triggered, gated, and burst modes are standard. All channels feature adjustable phase with accuracies up to 0.005 degrees. AM, FM, FSK, PSK, and phase modulation types are available. External phaselock range is from 40 Hz to 2 MHz. Autocal can be performed without external equipment at any time. Up to ten additional 650's can be cascaded to obtain up to 40 phase-controlled signals. An IEEE-488 interface is standard.
